The Wonders Of Christ's Crucifixion and Resurrection

The first man called Adam was sent out of the garden of Eden when he failed God. He on behalf of mankind sinned and was liable to death. The man was to shed his blood for his sin; however God in His inexhaustible love and sustaining grace sacrificed animals and showed man the pattern of sacrifice that remedies sin penalty.
The sacrifice kept increasing and was beyond the ability of man. God finally provided a permanent remedy through the death of His only begotten Son on the cross. The Bible says,
:" Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed. " Isaiah 53: 4,5
