THE TRUTHS ABOUT GOD II

 Reverend G. S Adeyemo,

God Owns Everything: 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. Romans 11:33-36  (Emphasis mine)
If there is anything we owe God at all, it is our acknowledging His ownership of all things. In humble submission we need to return all glory to Him. The passage we are considering especially the 36th verse points to the ultimate origin, the ultimate cause or the ultimately decisive reason for everything is God. Everything is dependent for its existence on God. The Psalmist says, “The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. 2 For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters. The whole earth, and all its fullness, is his. He made it, and he remains its sole Owner and Master. All its marvels, its beauty, its riches, come from God alone.
God owns everything and controls everything. He can give anyone as He wills and can withdraw anything at any time from anyone. He can promote anyone for promotion comes from him and He dethrones anyone according to his will. “The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. 7 The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up. 8 He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes And make them inherit the throne of glory. “For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, And He has set the world upon them.” 1 Samuel 2: 6-8

  • He will lift you up from the dungeon of despondency in Jesus name
  • The hand of God will break every barrier that stagnate your business in Jesus name
  • Every covenant from ancestral spirit that keeps you in perpetual affliction break down in Jesus name
  • That agent of darkness militating against your dream is paralyzed in Jesus name.

Those witches and demons have nothing to claim from you because they are not the Creator. Whatever they might have claimed from you that brings tears in the private or public is hereby annulled in Jesus name.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY is to surrender your life and will to God. Do not withhold anything from him for He owns everything and knows everything. As you do so, the Lord will open His heavenly treasure for your unlimited breakthroughs in Jesus name.

THE TRUTHS ABOUT GOD

Reverend & Pastor G. S. Adeyemo

There are basic truths about God that are indisputable and to be graciously accepted. 1. He Knows All Things. 2. He Owns Everything. 3. He can do all things. There is an astronomical difference between God and man. He is Immortal we are mortal; He is infinite, we are finite; He is the Creator we are His creatures.  Therefore it shouldn’t surprise anyone that God does many things we may not be able to comprehend. Several questions that we take precious time looking for answers about life will always go unanswered. Job was confronted with such questions when he felt unfairly treated by God. God engaged him in a long series of questions starting with “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?” (Job 38:4) and ending with “Who dares to open the doors of his mouth, ringed about with his fearsome teeth?” (Job 41:14).
Let us therefore consider the following basic truths about God:-
He Knows All Things:-The Scripture declares that God’s eyes run everywhere. He sees all affairs on earth, underneath the earth and heavens above. The Bible says, “The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.  From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.”  Psalms 33:13-15. You may read the following passages too (Job 24:23; Psalm 139:13-16; Proverbs 15:3; Jeremiah 16:17; Hebrews 4:13).
God searches all hearts and observes everyone’s ways. He knows every bit of your imagination. He weighs them and judges them with absolute accuracy.  See what the Psalmist says in the Word of God, “O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.” Psalm 139: 1-6. (1 Samuel 16:7; 1 Kings 8:39; 1 Chronicles 28:9; Psalms 139:1-6, 23; Jeremiah 17:10; Luke 16:15; Romans 8:27; Revelations 2:23) in essence He knows everything about everything and everybody all the time.
Also, he knows the future no less than the past and the present, and possible events that never happen no less than the actual events that do (1 Samuel 23:9-13; 2 Kings 13:19; Psalm 81:14-15; Isaiah 48:18). Nor does he have to “access” information about things, as a computer might retrieve a file; all his knowledge is always immediately and directly before his mind. Bible writers stand in awe of the capacity of God’s mind in this regard (Psalms 139:1-6: 147:5; Isaiah 40:13-14, 28; cf. Romans 11:33-36).”
God’s knowledge is linked to his sovereignty: he knows each thing, both in itself and in relation to all other things, because he created it, sustains it, and now makes it function every moment according to his plan for it (Ephesians 1:11). The idea that God could know, and foreknow, everything without controlling everything seems not only unscriptural but nonsensical. ”Do not think He does not see or know what you are going through. In fact, He is your companion as you journey through life. He told the Israelites, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites”. Men may not know your conditions but God knows.
Our God loves and will always want the best for His children just as we earthly fathers do. He uses every circumstance to bring out the best from us. In Malachi 3: 3, the Bible says, "And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness." These precious metals go through series of processes in order to come out in their best quality. The two most common methods for refining gold are the use of high temperature flame and the use of chemicals to refine the gold. When using flame, the temperature is as high as 1000 degree Celsius. Both the gold and the purifier are subjected to high degree of heat. Also the use of chemicals like Hydrochloric acid or Nitric acid generates heat to melt the substance. Both methods are tough and dangerous but at the end bring out the best.
Your difficulties will turn to beauty in Jesus name. Don't allow the heat to intimidate you. Tough time never last; only tough people do. Jesus did not promise us testimonies without tests. You might have been going through various experiences which are grievously painful; it is time for peace and glorious turn around in Jesus name.
