The Futility of Explaining God

"... to teach unborn baby how to impregnate a woman."

The more man tries to explain God and God 'godness', the more confused because God surpasses all language or intellect.
To explain the spiritual to the understanding of the finite mind is in the least trying to teach unborn baby how to impregnate a woman.
Note that "The just shall live by faith" Romans 1:17

Divine Power for Service

God wants to use us to bless the world. He has made provision for power to serve and to prosper to the praise of His name.

Acts 1:8
Introduction
The Church mission is the extension of Jesus ministry on earth. The ministry of saving the perishing souls. Jesus began the mission in the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:38.  Before He ascended to heaven, He commissioned all believers in Him to go making disciples of all nations. This is a task that needs divine enablement.
The Promise of Power
He commanded the apostles to tarry in Jerusalem for the power. He said, "But ye shall receive power, after that the  Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall  be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,  and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto  the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8. This is the promise of the Father from on high. Luke 24:49.
The Purpose of the Power
Divine power in the believer is for dual purposes namely, building or edifying the body -the Church of Christ and Leading the world back to God through evangelism. These can only be accomplished by the Holy Spirit. Without the power of the Holy Spirit our service will be fruitless and useless works in the flesh.
Preparation for the Power
Our life is God's vessel for service. Every vessel need to be prepared for service. The Bible says, "20 But in a great house there  are not only vessels of gold and of silver,  but also of wood and of earth; and some to  honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a  man therefore purge himself from these, he  shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified,  and meet for the master’s use, and  prepared unto every good work." God wants to use us to bless the world. He has made provision for power to serve and to prosper to the praise of His name. We must surrender our lives to Him for use in building the body of Christ and winning the world to God. As we allow Him we shall prosper in Jesus name.

Building Godly Home

It is God who builds a home and will make it habitation of peace, joy, bliss and godly.
Text: - Ephesians 5:21-33

Introduction
The topic suggests that there are homes not built on godliness while some are. Also, it is evident from the topic that it is a continuous exercise. Hence, we are considering the building of a home based on divine plan, principle and purpose.
The original purpose of God for creating man was and is building an extention of heavenly kingdom on earth. He said, "Let us make man in our image, after  our likeness: and let them have dominion  over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl  of the air, and over the cattle, and over all  the earth, and over every creeping thing  that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26. A man with sovereignty over the earth. A man with capacity to multipy and replenish the earth. A world of peace. A place of fellowship with and reverence for God. In chapter 2, God instituted a home that will project such kingdom family. However, this beautiful agenda eludes us right from the first family. It is God who builds a home and will make it habitation of peace, joy, bliss and godly. Allow him and your home will be a refuge in time of storm, rest from rigours of life and sufficiency in time of drought.
The first family rebelled against the will of God and consistently injuring the godly relationship between God and man. But Christ came to restore both the relationship and sovereignty back to man. Thats why Apostle Paul likened godly home to the relationship between the Church and Christ. "For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior" Ephesians 5:23.
The godly home has specifications for building  as recorded in the passage above. The specified materials for building godly home can be seen in two categories which I rferred to as bricks.

Bricks for Building Godly Home
There are two major types of bricks for building godly home as mentioned in the passage.
1. Submission:- Considering vs21&22 of the passage which says, " Submitting  yourselves one to another in the fear of  God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto  your own husbands, as unto the Lord. Submitting  yourselves one to another in the fear of  God." Today, there is campaign for gender equality. And many homes are facing challenges as a result of the crave for equality between couples. But the Word of God instructs us to submit to one another.
To submit according to the standard Greek-English dictionary, the verb translated as “submit” has a basic meaning of “subject oneself, be subjected or subordinated, obey.” The Greek verb used in 5:21 is hypotassō, which could be rendered in an overly literal way as “to be ordered under” (hypo—under; tassō—to order). Thus, “to subordinate” in English gets closest to the sense of the Greek (sub—ordinate). The standard Greek-English lexicon renders hypotassō in 5:21 as “voluntary yielding in love.” Therefore, every member of a godly home needs respect and leadership out of genuine love for God.
2. Love:- The second brick for building godly home is love. The Bible says, "25 Husbands, love  your wives, even as Christ also loved the  church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he  might sanctify and cleanse it with the  washing of water by the word, 27 That he  might present it to himself a glorious  church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any  such thing; but that it should be holy and  without blemish. 28 So ought men to love  their wives as their own bodies. He that  loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no  man ever yet hated his own flesh; but  nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the  Lord the church: Eph. 5:25-28.
In building godly home, we need
Sacrificial love: this is love giving all it takes to building godly home. You give your commitment, materials, body and life.
Nourishing love:-This is love providing for the needs of a home. In other word you shepherd your home as husband. This will make the family peaceful and enjoyable.
Cherishing love: It is the love that pays attention to oneanother in order to help, encourage and add value to life of the couples.
