SEARCHING OUT FOR JESUS

During these early years of the 21st century, we have faced various problems that appear to have no answer. However, I am glad to announce to you an infallible solution to all situations that are rampaging your businesses, marriage, ministries, and nation. He was in the beginning and is and shall forever be.  “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1: 15-20
1. Make An Appointment With The Lord Jesus Christ. This is the time to take our relationship seriously with the Lord. When last did you have a personal prayer night? You started reading the Bible in January 1 but dropped out before the end of first quarter of the year. Go back and fix a new appointment with the Lord on personal quiet time.
There you express your heart desires before the Lord and claim promises from His Word. It is no time to grudge and blame Government or denomination for your woes. Revisit your appointment with the Lord.
2. Search Out for Jesus: The Bible says, “People will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.” Amos 8: 12. The word came 2000 years ago dwelling among us as the Son of God yet, many have not seen Him.  But if you will seek Him today you will see Him. “When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they asked Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?” Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, it is not because you saw these signs that you are looking for Me, but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For God the Father has placed His seal of approval on Him.” John 6: 25-27
Search for Jesus in the right place for the right purpose -eternal life. He will manifest Himself to you and your life and situation will never remain the same.
3. Do not allow your worries to rule your life. Stop counting your losses and start counting opportunities for better tomorrow. Do not allow your anxieties and worries to weigh you down. You are not alone in the way. The Lord has promised not to abandon you. He will send help when you least expected. Philippians 4: 6 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”  Also read, 1Peter 5: 7; Joshua 1: 3; Hebrews 13: 5.
