One sure way of knowing the mind of God is through the Bible. The constraint of many is inability to personally study the Bible. This is one major reason why a lot of people fall into the hand of false pastors and prophets today. They are fed with several doctrines mingled with traditional rules and regulations. Some of these practices cannot be authenticated in the Bible. A sister was asked to fast for three days, praying and drinking water with the church bell so that her voice could be heard in the public since no one can suppress the sound of a bell. This is nothing but ritual. Is this what the Bible teaches? To rise above this philosophy of man, one needs to be a student of the Bible. You shall know the truth says Jesus Christ, and you shall be set free. John 8: 32.
